    Plan to take part in one popular naturalist activity. Mothing is a special evening outing to search and find moths in our area to identify. The activity is growing everywhere and in England where it has become quite the rage. Club member Mary Green, and husband Gerry have offered their property and experience to introduce members in the past to the activity. We would meet at the Greens’ at 8:00 p.m. Phone Mary at 705-437-1262 to confirm for participation. Members will be advised by e-mail of details and developments if/when a date is arranged.

    This year the Earth Hour is planned to be Saturday March 29. We anticipate Club member Beth Daw-Ryder will hopefully be again coordinating the club evening walk in Sibbald Point Provincial Park. This is a popular annual club event. We will meet at the Park Parking lot at 8:30 p.m. and hike for One hour. Hooting for owls and related activities will occur. Dress for the weather.     Members will travel to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection near Kleinburg. As well as the permanent collections, participants will view the special exhibition, a celebration of art and culture of the Inuit people of Cape Dorset (Kinngait) through three exhibitions that bring into light this rich artistic community in the northern territory of Nunavut. Its spectacular geography, and the prolific contribution of its people to the documentation of Inuit life and traditions that span over half a century, will be apparent. Meet at Coffee Time, Highway 48 south of Baldwin at 1:00 p.m.
