    The annual Autumn Birding trip along Lake Simcoe will concentrate on waterfowl and shorebirds. Rare migrants can sometimes turn up unexpectedly so be prepared. Later in the day we may do some hiking and general nature study in one of our local natural areas. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Tim Horton’s in Sutton on Dalton Road. Dress for the weather.     This year the Earth Hour is planned to be Saturday March 29. We anticipate Club member Beth Daw-Ryder will hopefully be again coordinating the club evening walk in Sibbald Point Provincial Park. This is a popular annual club event. We will meet at the Park Parking lot at 8:30 p.m. and hike for One hour. Hooting for owls and related activities will occur. Dress for the weather.     An afternoon winter adventure in a Regional Forest location in the South Lake Simcoe area. Actual details of the trip will depend on weather and existing winter conditions.
